There is one candidate up for re-election and one candidate up for election at this year’s annual meeting. Since no additional members have been slated for these positions, the nominating committee has slated each candidate for his or her open position. There will be no nominations from the floor and the election will not be conducted by ballot when there is only one nominee for each position to be filled.
The nominating committee has slated the following candidate for re-election:
James retired from Bayer/Lanxess Corporation, Corporate Division, after 32 years of service. He has been an active board member since 1992 and has held the following positions for INOVA Federal: Current Director of the Board, Treasurer, Supervisory Committee Member, Chairman of the Budget Committee, Security Committee Member, and Nominating Committee Member. He is a graduate of Indiana University; James has a BA in Chemistry and Physics, as well as a BS in Business Administration and Accounting with a CPA certificate.
The nominating committee has slated the following candidate for election:
Chantelle is a native Hoosier from right here in Elkhart. Both of her parents are longtime members of INOVA Federal, and both worked at Miles. She spent two years pursuing a communications degree at Cedarville University before marrying her high school sweetheart. Chantelle is currently the Librarian for Jimtown Intermediate and has been since 2007. When she is not reading for her job or for pleasure, she is an avid runner and coaches the Junior High cross-country team at Baugo Community schools. She loves to cook and has been a camp cook for many years during the summer and continues to cater open houses and wedding receptions. She is actively involved in Gymtown Pantry which is a local food pantry dedicated to helping those in the Jimtown area who are in need. She also serves several other local ministries and is excited to bring her passion to the service of INOVA Federal.
