Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic that we have all endured together, INOVA’s top priority has been the health and safety of our employees and members, and that philosophy remains. While many things were, and still are on hold, we remain committed to serving our members’ financial needs the best way possible under these challenging circumstances.

Up to this point, access to your accounts, and to the services that help support your financial well-being have been limited to our branch drive-thrus and technology banking options. We also extended our Call Center hours and our employees have continued to work diligently, both in our branches and remotely, in order to assist all members with their banking needs.

As we continue to track the latest updates around COVID-19, along with adhering to guidelines set forth by state and local officials, we will begin the process of reopening INOVA branch lobbies in phases, with the following openings on Monday, May 11, 2020:

  • Corporate Headquarters – 358 S. Elkhart Ave, Elkhart, IN

  • County Road 6 – (Chiphone partnership branch) 619 CR 6 East, Elkhart, IN

  • Michigan City Branch – 1025 S. Carroll Ave, Michigan City, IN

  • Additional Branch lobby openings are forthcoming

This transition requires careful planning and involves practices that align with our continued focus on employee and member safety. As such, the following protocols will be in place in each location:

  • Entrances and exits will be clearly marked

  • To support safe social distancing:

    • Occupancy limits will be imposed

    • Floors will be clearly marked for branch traffic

    • Waiting areas will be rearranged

  • Plexiglas shields will be in place between members and employees

  • Public bathrooms, computers and coffee stations will be temporarily unavailable

  • Masks and gloves are optional – if you are wearing a mask, you may be asked to quickly remove it for identification purposes

  • During this transition we encourage you to continue using our drive-thrus and ATMs for quick transactions, and to reserve in branch visits for more complex financial business.


We have helped many members and local businesses navigate the unknowns associated with this pandemic, and with other challenges throughout our nearly 80 years as a local financial cooperative, and we will be here to continue that for years to come.
